Paklenica Scrambling – Mountain Traveller Croatia
About scrambling in Paklenica
Scrambling is a type of adrenaline activity which combines hiking, climbing, and jumping over natural obstacles such as creek and huge rocks. It is a kind of what we all used to do when we were kids – playing around in nature.
Scrambling in Paklenica is a funny way to explore the amazing nature of Velebit, as well as a way to get to some high peaks overlooking the Adriatic Sea. All of that under the eye of expert guides from Mountain Traveller Croatia.
Due to its unique natural features, magnificent forests and extraordinary geomorphologic structures, the area of Velebit and Paklenica was proclaimed a national park in 1949. This beautiful natural wonder is often called „One of The Last European Wilderness“ and „The center of endemism“ of this part of Europe.
