About Krka National Park MTB route 4
At beautiful Krka National Park there are several road, MTB and trekking cycling routes for cyclist of all abilities. The fourth MTB route is a circular route which covers 32.1 kilometers and climbs 590 meters.
The starting point of the MTB route 4 is the visitors center in Laškovica, from where it leads towards the Krka Monastery at the northern part of the canyon. That area has been inhabited since the early age, so under the monastery you can visit ancient Roman catacombs, and in the monastery, there is a big library with many rare books and manuscripts.
After that, the route goes beside the canyon, returns to the Laškovica and then pops down to Roški Slap waterfall, and climbs back to the visitors center. Signs along the route are blue with white arrows and “M – 4” marks. Here you can read some rules which need to be obeyed while cycling.
